We want to share some exciting news about the Kitchen Stories app. But first, we want to say THANK YOU! We are so happy that Kitchen Stories is your daily cooking companion.

For 10 years now, we have made it our mission to bring joy to your kitchen with our innovative technology under the motto "anyone can cook". In addition to continuously expanding our free recipe offering, which now includes over 10,000 sure-fire recipes for cooking and baking, we strive to offer our community the ultimate cooking experience. That's why we're incredibly excited to finally introduce a new premium extension to our app, Kitchen Stories Plus.

Kitchen Stories Plus will not only make your cooking experience better, but also easier! Over the past few months, we have spent a lot of time finding out which additional functions our community would like to see. To do this, we conducted one-on-one community interviews and analyzed the challenges you face in the kitchen every day. Let us explain in a little more detail why Kitchen Stories Plus is the right choice for you.

The free version of our Kitchen Stories app will continue to be available to all users—including the features you already know and love. As promised, the free basic version of the shopping list will soon be available again for everyone.

A little taste of what’s in store

So that you can share in our excitement, we'd like to give you a sneak peek of a very special new feature of Kitchen Stories Plus: the ingredient-based recipe search and the “For You” feed!

Ingredient-based recipe search

We've all been there: you have ingredients leftover from your last cooking project and don't know how to turn them into a great new dish? No problem! With this new feature, you can now search for recipes based on specific ingredients and combinations that you already have at home. This means less food waste and fewer small trips to the supermarket. You can also save your favorite ingredients and simplify your search for inspiration in the long term.

Additionally, with Kitchen Stories Plus you’ll unlock the ability to save recipes from anywhere online directly in your in-app Cookbooks (a premium feature formerly known as “Cookbook+”). This means you can keep all of your favorite recipes and inspiration in one place for seamless everyday cooking.

“For You” feed

To make your experience in the Kitchen Stories app even more personalized, we've been working hard on a new feature that's all about you! In addition to the Kitchen Stories feed you already know of, we are looking forward to inspiring you further with the brand new "For You" feed.

The individual feed focuses on your personal culinary preferences and helps you saving time searching for the best recipes. This new feature gives you access to an exclusive section that shows you old and new recipes tailored to your taste and diet. To get started all you need to do is fill out a short questionnaire.

And what if your preferences change? No problem! You can always update your settings. This way your feed will always match your taste.

Feeling curious?

You can use the new Kitchen Stories Plus extension for €4.99/month or €24.99/year. To reduce our reliance on advertising revenue, and ensure we can deliver the ultimate cooking experience, revenue from the premium extension will help to support our entire platform. If you are already a premium user of our Cookbook+ feature, the price will not change for you! Existing Cookbook+ users will get access to the new premium features at no additional cost.
