Roast Duck (Beijing Style)

Step 1/5
- 1 whole duck
Clean the whole duck, and at the same time boil 1L water to rinse the skin of the duck twice, the put into ice cubes

- 5 garlic
- 3 onions
- 1 ginger
Preheat the oven to 200 C* and chop Onions, Garlics and Ginger into slices to put inside the cleaner duck then use toothpicks to close the skin (for a even cook later in the oven)

- 30 ml honey
- 30 ml maple syrup
- 60 ml soy sauce
- Brush
Before putting stuffed duck into oven, brush the sauce mixture on to the skin of the duck for a lovely colour after baking
Step 4/5
Bake the duck for 75 mins under the cover of foil; then flip the duck for another 55 mins under the cover of foil. Lastly, removed the foil cover, to bake the duck for 20 mins for the golden colour and crispy skin

- 10 g sesame seeds
garnish with sesame seed
