Peanut butter French toast

- 2 eggs
- 50 ml heavy cream
- salt

Whisk together eggs and heavy cream. Season with a little salt.
Step 2/3
- 4 slices sandwich bread
- 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- plate
- knife
Generously coat both sides of one bread slice in the egg mixture, and set aside on a plate. Spread peanut butter on one side of the next slice, and coat the other side in the egg mixture. Sandwich this piece of bread onto the other slice, so that the peanut butter is in the middle. Repeat process for the next sandwich.
Step 3/3
- 1 tbsp clarified butter
- maple syrup (for serving)
- frying pan
Heat clarified butter in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Once melted, add one peanut butter sandwich and fry until golden brown, approx. 2 – 3 min. on both sides. Serve with maple syrup. Enjoy!
