Paneer Butter Masala

2 woks, blender, frying pan
Step 1/11
- 250 g paneer cheese
At first defrost the paneer.
Step 2/11
- 1 onion
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 green chilis
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
Chop all the vegetables.
Step 3/11
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 tsp cumin seed
- 2 tbsp ghee

Add 1tbsp ghee and add cumin seeds and the spices.
Step 4/11
Add all the vegetables to the pan and sauté them till the onion turns colorless.

- 8 cashews
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground coriander
Later, add turmeric, chili powder and coriander powder, mix it well and cook for about 2 to 3 mins. Once its done let it to cool down.

Put the mixture in a blender and make a paste.

In a side, take a pan and add 1 tbsp butter and fry the paneer to get a crispy coating.

- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp salt (According to taste)
- 1 tsp sugar

In a wok, add 1tbsp ghee and the paste, simmer the flame and add in garam masala, salt and sugar to it, mix well.
Step 9/11
Let the mixture to cook for about 2-3 mins till the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
Step 10/11
- 1 tsp Kasuri methi/Dry fenugreek leaves
- 3 tbsp cream
Add Kasuri methi, give it a mix and finally add cream.
Step 11/11
Serve Hot.
