Palitaw (sticky rice dumpling)

Step 1/6
- 1 cups glutinous rice flour
- ½ cup water
- Mixing bowl, plate
Mix glutinous rice flour and water in a mixing bowl to make a smooth dough (clay like consistency). Scoop dough about 1 - 1 1/2tbsp, roll into ball and flatten into a patty. Set aside on a dry plate. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
Step 2/6
- 1 cups grated coconut, divided
- frying pan
Toasts 1 cup of grated coconut until golden brown and fragrant. Set aside.
Step 3/6
- ½ cup sugar
- 1½ tbsp Toasted sesame seed
Mix sugar and sesame seed.
Step 4/6
- large pot
- slotted spoon
Bring 4-5 cups of water to a boil in a pot. Drop 5-6pcs dumplings into the pot and boil until they rise and float to the top, about 1 to 3 minutes. Scoop them out with a slotted spoon and drain.
Step 5/6
Roll the dumplings in the remaining coconut.

sprinkle generously with toasted coconut and sugar-sesame seeds mixture. Enjoy!
