bittersweet couverture chocolate

hand mixer with beaters, bowl, grater, food processor, baking tin, heatproof bowl, pot, pastry brush

    Pre-heat oven to 160º (fan oven).

    • 33⅓ g flour
    • 41⅔ g butter
    • 1 eggs
    • 33⅓ g sugar
    • 1⅓ g vanilla sugar
    • 3 g baking powder
    • 41⅔ g ground hazelnuts
    • 16⅔ g dark chocolate
    • hand mixer with beaters

    • grater
    • food processor

    Mix soft butter with eggs, add sugar/vanilla sugar, add flour/baking powder, add ground nuts and grated chocolate.

    Grease 30cm loaf tin with butter packaging and add cake mixture. Add to middle shelf of oben and bake for 60-75 minutes.

    Remove cake from oven and baking tin and allow to cool.

    • 25 g bittersweet couverture chocolate

    Heat a pot of water. Break up couverture and place in a heatproof jar/tin. Add jar/gin to pot and allow contents to melt. Glaze cake with melted chocolate and allow to dry.
