Juicy grilled and glazed chicken

Step 1/3
- 400 g mixed chicken pieces
- 1 tbsp Kitchen Stories Meat Lover seasoning
- alternative to Meat Lover: pyramid salt, black pepper, chilli flakes, paprika, coriander and lemon zest

In a big bowl, mix the MEAT LOVER seasoning with salt and sugar. Take the chicken pieces out of the fridge, add to the bowl and rub with the seasoning. Chill uncovered in the fridge for at least approx. 1 hr. or up to 8 hrs. And even better overnight.

- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ chili
- 1½ tbsp mixed berry jam
- 1½ tbsp soy sauce

When the chicken is marinated, heat up the grill or grill pan to medium heat. Oil the grilling surface and grill chicken pieces, turning them every so often until they are browned and almost done, depending on the size of the chicken pieces (or until the inside has reached 80°C/176°F). Meanwhile, grate garlic and finely chop chili. In a small bowl, mix garlic and chili with jam and soy sauce.

While still on the grill, brush chicken pieces with the glaze and continue to grill. Then turn, brush the other side with the glaze and grill, for approx. 4–5 min. more. Let rest for approx. 10–15 min., then cut and serve!
