How to cook aromatic bulgur
Ingredients
Bulgur is Booming
Bulgur is a nutritional whole wheat. And while it’s a newer addition to Western cuisine, it has been consumed in the Middle East and Mediterranean countries since 2800 B.C. It is very similar to Couscous and just as easy to prepare. It also contains a particularly high amount of plant-based protein, which is why vegetarians and vegans have especially taken claim to this grain.
How to Make It
Smash garlic and add it to a saucepan with vegetable stock. Bring to a boil. Add paprika powder and season with salt and pepper. Add bulgur to a mixing bowl and pour over vegetable stock. Cover with plastic wrap and leave for approx. 10 – 15 min. Fluff up with a fork, garnish with green onions and olive oil and enjoy!
Enjoy your meal!
