Homemade curry paste
Ingredients
Step 1/4
- 1 cloves garlic
- ¼ red chilly
- ¾ shallots
- fresh ginger
- 1 lemongrass
Cut the chilly, lemongrass, ginger (~5cm piece), shallots and garlic gloves in small pieces and add it to an electric mixer.
Step 2/4
- ½ lime (juice, zest)
- ¼ tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tbsp Soya sauce
Add the lime juice and zest, the soya sauce and the sesame oil.
Step 3/4
Mix all ingredients using the electric mixer until you get a good consistency. Add water or oil if the consistency is too thick.
Step 4/4
Separate the paste in 8 equal portions and freeze it so you can use it later.
