"this is my favorite recipe for soft chewie cookies. instead of normal chocolate chips ( or pieces of chocolate) I like to use Daim which is chocolate with caramel inside. I chop those into smaller parts. have fun with this recipe!"

Ingredients

250 g
light brown sugar

1 tbsp
baking powder
180 g
butter
1 pinch

vanilla sugar
  • Step 1/10

    heat the oven to 170 degree Celsius.

  • Step 2/10

    • 180 g butter

    melt the butter in a pan. Don't heat it too much, It just has to melt.

  • Step 3/10

    • 250 g light brown sugar
    • 8 g vanilla sugar

    mix the light brown sugar with the vanilla sugar.

  • Step 4/10

    mix the melted butter with the sugar mixture. mix until the sugar starts to melt.

  • Step 5/10

    • 1 egg

    mix the egg to the butter sugar mixture.

  • Step 6/10

    • 250 g flour
    • 1 tbsp baking powder
    • 1 pinch salt

    Add the flower, baking soda and salt to the sugar,butter,egg-mixture. Do this with a spatula.

  • Step 7/10

    wait a few minutes untill the mixture is a bit cooler.

  • Step 8/10

    • 200 g chocolate chips

    mix the chocolate chips in the mixture

  • Step 9/10

    make around the 15-20 small balls with the mixture.

  • Step 10/10

    put it in the oven for about 13 minutes. make sure jou check sometimes.
