Tennessee Peach Pudding

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Step 2/9
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup sugar
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cups water
- ½ tsp nutmeg

Mix brown sugar, sugar, and nutmeg in a sauce pan. Warm over medium heat. Add butter and water and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside.

- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg

In a mixing bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg until combined.

- 5 cups Peaches, peeled and diced
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Add milk and vanilla extract to flour mixture to form batter. Fold in the peaches.

Grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter.

Pour peach mixture into baking dish and level. Slowly and gently pour the contents of the saucepan on top.

Bake for 50 to 55 mins at 400 degrees.

Let rest for 15 minutes.

Serve with vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream.
