Taco Pan Pizza

10 inch cast iron pan or skillet
Step 1/8
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 10 inch cast iron pan or skillet
Oil the 10 inch cast iron skillet.
Step 2/8
- 1 lb pizza dough
Press the dough around the pan and flatten it, so that it covers the entire pan. Make sure there are no air bubbles.
Step 3/8
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
While the dough rests in the pan, prepare the seasoned beef according to the taco seasoning directions.
Step 4/8
- 1 oz taco seasoning
Thinly spread taco sauce on top of the dough.
Step 5/8
Spread about the cooked seasoned beef over the pizza evenly.
Step 6/8
Bake the pizza in a preheated 550 degree oven until the crust is golden brown and crisp. About 12 to 15 minutes.
Step 7/8
- ¾ cup taco sauce
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the Mexican cheese evenly over the top of the beef.
Step 8/8
- 8 oz shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sliced grape tomatoes
Take the pizza out of the oven and immediately top with the shredded iceberg lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and the sliced grape tomatoes. Cut into 4-6 slices and serve.
