Salmon with creamy white sauce pasta
Ingredients
Step 1/6
- ½ red onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 200 g Gorgonzola cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
Wash spinach if not pre washed. Cut onion and garlic to small pieces. Heat the pan and pour in olive oil and and the butter. When heated up add onion and garlic. Fry until onion is translucent.
Step 2/6
- 1 package baby spinach
Add spinach into the pan and reduce it on low heat. Stir from time to time. Remember that spinach is loosing water and schrinks.
Step 3/6
- 500 ml heavy cream (36% or 30% liquid consistency)
- 2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 2 pinches Lemon pepper
Add the heavy cream. Bring to boil. Add nutmeg, salt, pepper. Cut cheese into small pieces and add it to sauce, stir until cheese melts (keep it boiling, but whatch out to not burn it). In mean time cock the pasta.
Step 4/6
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Once sauce gets reduce to thicker consistency, you can turn it off. Pre heat another smaller pan with olive oil.
Step 5/6
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 lemon
Remove the skin from salmon. Cover piece of salmon in lemon pepper. Fry it on pre heated olive oil. Begin with the side where the skin was. When you see that meat is turning white turn it over. You can fry the top little longer to have it browned a little. In mean time mix cooked pasta with sauce and heat it up.
Step 6/6
- 1 package tagliatelle
- 1 bag rapunzel
Place the pasta on the plate and place on top of it the fried salmon. Spray salmon with lemon juice. Add rapunzel on top.
