Step 1/4
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 stalks scallions
- 1 ginger
- 80 ground beef

Chop the garlic and mince the ginger. Slice scallions and set aside. Heat some oil in a frying pan, then add garlic and ginger and fry until fragrant. Add the ground beef and sauté until browned.

- ½ tbsp fermented bean paste
Add fermented bean paste and stir-fry until the oil is red in color.
Step 3/4
- 120 ml water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
Add water, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring everything to a boil.
Step 4/4
- 500 g tofu
- 1 tbsp starch
- 1 pinch Sichuan pepper powder
- 1 tbsp chili oil
Cut the tofu into small pieces. Add it to the pot and cover with a lid. Cook for 2 min. Add starch and pepper powder to the pot. To serve, sprinkle with chopped chives and drizzle with chili oil.
