DIY deep-fried dough bites

- 350 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 120 g butter
- 2 eggs
- flour for dusting

Add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, and eggs to a large mixing bowl and mix with a hand mixer until combined. Transfer dough onto a floured work surface and roll out until it’s approx. 1-cm/0.5-inch thick. Cut into rectangles using a knife or pastry wheel,

- 1000 ml vegetable oil

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot until the temperature reaches approx. 180°C/350°F. Add dough bites in portions to the hot oil and deep-fry for approx. 2 min., or until golden brown. Remove from hot oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Transfer sugar onto a plate and roll deep-fried dough bites in it while they are still warm. Toss to coat. Repeat until all dough bites are completely sugar coated. Enjoy!
