Crispy Honey Chilli Chicken

1 bowl (large), 2 knives, 1 wooden spoon, 1 frying pan (large, deep), 1 frying pan (large), 1 cooking spoon
Step 1/3
- 1 chicken breasts
- ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste (for marinating)
- salt (for marinating)
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- ½ tsp dark soy sauce (for marinating)
- ½ tsp vinegar (for marinating)
- 1 tbsp cornflour (for dusting)
- 1 bowl (large)
- 1 knife
- 1 wooden spoon
Cut the chicken breasts into small cubes. Wash thoroughly and squeeze out excess water. Marinate with ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper powder, dark soy sauce and vinegar. Allow it to marinate for 30 mins. Later dust the pieces with cornflour and set side.
Step 2/3
- oil (for deep frying)
- ½ onion
- ½ green bell pepper
- ½ spring onion
- 2½ g ginger
- 2½ g garlic
- 1 knife
- 1 frying pan (large, deep)
Deep fry the chicken pieces. Fry on low flame for 5 mins then continue frying on medium flame till it turns golden brown in colour. Remove on absorbent paper. Dice green bell pepper and onion and spring onion greens. Finely chop ginger and garlic.

- 2 tbsp red chilli paste
- ½ tbsp ketchup
- ½ tsp dark soy sauce
- ¼ tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- salt (for sprinkling)
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- oil (for frying)
- 1 frying pan (large)
- 1 cooking spoon
Heat oil in a pan. Add in chopped ginger, garlic, onion and green bell pepper. Sauté on high flame. Lower the flame and add in red chilli paste, ketchup, dark soy sauce, vinegar, salt, black pepper powder and honey. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add in fried chicken pieces and coat well with the sauce. Add in chopped spring onion greens and toss once again and turn off the flame. Ready to be served!!!!!
