Chocolate Quinoa Porridge

Ingredients
Step 1/4
- ½ cup quinoa
- 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ tsp salt
Combine all the ingredients in a small sauce pan. Stir and bring to boil over medium-high heat
Step 2/4
Once it comes to a boil, reduce to low heat, allow to cool slightly, and cover with a lid. Cook for 15 - 17 minutes or until of the liquid is absorbed
Step 3/4
Once done, remove the porridge from the heat and let stand, uncovered, for 5 minutes
Step 4/4
To serve, divide chocolate quinoa between bowls, add almond milk, and top with and topping of your choice.
