"New recipe I’ve just created.. still working on but it was super tasty For a first attempt & went nice with green veg served on the side. Excuse the overdone chicken, I have a baby distracting me from my cooking sometimes!"

Ingredients

1 tbsp
olive oil
80 g
5 grains (spelt, barley, durum wheat, rice & oats)
100 g
brown mushroom
1 tbsp
salted butter
3 cloves
garlic
1 tbsp
thyme
400 g
Borlotti beans
2 tbsp
parsley
salt
  • Step 1/7

    Preheat the oven to 180. Put on the kettle & put the 5 grains onto boil for 10 minutes before draining then set aside.

  • Step 2/7

    Put a pan on high heat then ready for the chicken. Add olive oil to the chicken breast then season with salt & pepper. Put the chicken into the pan to sear it for about 5 minutes each side or until it’s coloured slightly brown.

    Meanwhile chop the mushrooms into cubes, garlic finely chopped (or use a garlic crusher) & chop the thyme. the & add to a deep pan with butter. Cook for 2 minutes then add chopped garlic.

    Once the chicken is brown transfer to an oven dish & put into the oven until cooked through.

    Using the pan the chicken just came out from add the butter & mushrooms. Cook for 2 minutes until adding the garlic, then a further 2 minutes before adding the thyme.

  • Step 6/7

    Once the mushrooms are cooked & the juices are coming out then add the beans for 4 minutes, add the drained 5 grains & mix them. Finally thought chop the parsley & add with the crème fraîche, then season with salt & pepper.

  • Step 7/7

    By then the chicken will have been cooked through & set aside awaiting to be plated up along with the beans. Then enjoy!
