Canned tuna pasta

Step 1/9

Heat the water un a pot and bring to boil season with salt generously.
Step 2/9
- 1 cup Pasta of choice
- wooden spoon
Add your choice of pasta to the boiling water and cook a minute less than the package directions and stir form time to time.

- ½ cup onion (chopped)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- frying pan
- wooden spoon
In a frying pan on medium heat add the olive oil , onion. Stir fry until translucent
Step 4/9
- 1 canned tuna (drained)
- 2 cloves garlic (grated)
Add the grated garlic to the frying pan stir fry until fragrant then Add the canned tuna to the pan
Step 5/9
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Crushed black pepper
- ½ tsp dried oregano
Add oregano, sprinkle of salt,black pepper to liking and stir in half of the lemon zest

- ½ cup Cherry tomatoes (or diced )
Lastly add the cherry tomatoes and mix until cooked

Drain the pasta and keep 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid

- 1 lemon juice
Add the pasta to the tuna mixture and stir until the sauce thickens then turn off the heat then add the lemon juice and mix
Step 9/9
Plate the pasta sprinkle the remaining zest on top and Bon appetite
