"I invented this recipe with Autumnal inspiration. I love the use of blackberries melting in your mouth- if you prefer you can swap the brown sugar for maple syrup for an extra touch."

baking powder

    • 100 g self raising flour
    • 3 egg whites

    Mix oats, flour and egg whites.

    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 50 g brown sugar

    Add baking powder,sugar and cinnamon

    • 150 ml milk

    Slowly add the milk little by little, whisking well between additions.

    • 100 g blackberries

    Mix in the blackberries, stir and set aside.

  • Step 5/6

    • 1 scoop butter (for greasing)

    Butter up a pan at medium heat and add the batter in small quantities, creating pancakes of a diameter 10cm.

    Cook until spongy in the centre and golden brown on both sides.
