A Christmas dinner of a different kind
The Christmas season is already in full swing and as well baking homemade cookies and juggling inevitable Christmas errands, one or two other thoughts just might have strayed to the upcoming festive meal.
At home, we’ve never stuck to a traditional menu. Meat-eaters and vegetarians have always been united under our roof, which is why our Christmas dinners have always been, and still are, more of a buffet of various dishes. I’ve always associated Christmas Eve with fragrant rice and sumac, colorful oven vegetables, roasted chicken legs with a light crispy honey glaze and fragrant toasted nuts.
Though I’m a meat-eater myself, that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the wealth of delicious vegetarian and vegan Christmas dishes. And, fortunately I don't have to choose just one this year, thanks to my family's buffet concept! So believe me when I say that these dishes are in no way inferior to their traditional counterparts. If you also feel like trying something new this year, then the following vegetarian and vegan recipes are her for you. For an unforgettable Christmas dinner of a different kind, for everyone at your table
