Vegetarian Caesar Salad

Step 1/3

- frying pan
- paper towels
Tear the baguette into bite-sized pieces and fry in a pan with approx. 3 tbsp. olive oil until golden brown. Then drain on a paper towel and season with salt.
Step 2/3
- 1 clove garlic
- 30 g Parmesan cheese
- œ lemon
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp full-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 1 pinch sugar
- salt
- pepper
- fine grater
- liquid measuring cup
- immersion blender
For the dressing, peel the garlic clove and finely grate the parmesan cheese. Then blend finely with the remaining ingredients in a measuring cup using an immersion blender. If the dressing is too thick, you can add a little water to dilute it. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 3/3
- 1 head romaine heart
- 5 mini cucumbers
- peeler
Wash the lettuce and cut into bite-sized pieces. Also cut the cucumbers into 1 cm slices. Arrange the lettuce on plates and spread the cucumbers on top. Then drizzle the dressing over it, shave some vegetarian Parmesan over it in thick strips using a peeler, and finally add the croutons. Enjoy!
