Crunchy chocolate granola
Ingredients
Step 1/4
- 500 g rolled oats
- 40 g chopped almonds
- 40 g unsweetened shredded coconut
- 4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
First, mix all the dry ingredients (rolled oats, almonds, coconut flakes and cocoa powder). Of course, feel free to add other nuts if desired.
Step 2/4
- 250 ml agave nectar
- 6 tbsp agave nectar
- 4 tbsp coconut oil
Now add the wet ingredients (water, agave syrup and melted coconut oil) to the mixture and mix well. Then evenly spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Step 3/4
Transfer the baking tray to the preheated oven at 180°C/350°F. After approx. 15 min., stir the granola once and bake for another approx. 10-20 minutes. Check in between times, as it can easily get burnt.
Step 4/4
- 40 g bittersweet chocolate
- 40 g white chocolate
Let the granola cool down a bit, then add the chopped chocolate chips at a lukewarm temperature and mix it in. I have also added some banana chips.
