"Salsa Criolla is super easy to make. If you have ever been to Argentina, or had an argentinian friend make you an Asado (argentinian’s barbecue), then you probably saw this. Mostly eaten over some bread with butter, before the meat is ready, Salsa Criolla is a classic on argentinian’s Sunday lunches. Or maybe, any meals that include some meat made over hot embers and fresh white bread. Espero que lo disfrutes! (That’s how you say ‘Hope you enjoy this!’ on Spanish.)"

  • Step 2/4

Chop onion, tomatoes and green bell pepper. Red bell pepper would also work fine, but the green enhaces the colors of the salad.

  • Step 3/4

Stir and season with oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste. Be pretty generous, for it is going to give this a really good taste. Let rest for about 15 minutes. Although resting isn’t really necessary, I do believe it enhaces the flavours. If in a rush, then eat right away, but allow to rest for a better taste!
