Potato Scones
Ingredients

Deep pan , potato masher, fork, rolling pin, baking sheet, baking pan, knife, pastry brush, grater, wire rack
Step 1/8
- 58⅓ g potato
- Deep pan
Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water
Step 2/8
- Freshly ground black pepper
- potato masher
Mash the potatoes with black pepper and 4 tbsp of milk and put in the fridge until cold
Step 3/8
- 66⅔ g Self raising flour
- 8⅓ g Wholemeal flour (atta)
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 8⅓ g Butter(in cubes)
Rub butter into the dry ingredients until it resembles chunky breadcrumbs
Step 4/8

Add the dry ingredients to the potatoes and mix with a fork add 1 tbsp milk if needed
Step 5/8

Knead the dough for a few seconds. Roll out to 15 cm round and transfer to a oiled baking sheet
Step 6/8

Makes six wedges with a small sharp knife
Step 7/8
- Paparika powder
- 13⅓ g Mature cheddar cheese
- 1⅓ tbsp milk
- pastry brush
- grater
Brush with milk and sprinkle with grated cheese and paparika
Step 8/8
- Sprig of basil
- wire rack
Transfer to wire rack to cool and serve with a sprigs of basil
