Plantbased banana bread

Preheat over to 180 degrees Celsius and grease a baking pan (25 cm) with oil

- 6 bananas (overripe)
- 150 ml vegetable oil
- 200 g brown sugar
Mash the bananas and mix with the sugar and oil

- 450 g whole-wheat flour
- 100 g chopped mixed nuts (for garnish)
Add flour and if you like the nuts/dried fruit, mix well

- 6 tsp baking soda
- 6 tsp vinegar
Add the baking powder and vinegar, fold into the batter. Don’t stir too much!

Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and bake uncovered for 20 minutes
Step 6/7
Check the banana bread and bake for another 20 minutes. Check regularly with a skewer if it’s ready. If the bread is getting too dark, cover with aluminum foil.

When the banana bread is done, leave it in the turned off oven with the door ajar to cook down
