water (warm)
1 tbsp
maple syrup
2 pinches
salt
2 pinches
black pepper

  • Step 1/3

    • 1 red onion
    • mandoline
    • glass jar

    cut the onions into very thin rings/slices and then add them to a jar

  • Step 2/3

    • ½ cup white vinegar
    • 1 cup water (warm)
    • 1 tbsp maple syrup

    add in all of the wet ingredients

  • Step 3/3

    • 2 pinches salt
    • 2 pinches black pepper

    add in the seasonings/spices
