- 400 g canned whole peeled tomatoes

Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Crush garlic with a knife. Place the canned tomatoes in a sieve and collect the liquid. Lightly crush the tomatoes with your fingers.

- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 250 g pasta
- basil
- frying pan
- spatula
Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the garlic for approx. 2 min. Then add the tomato pieces and fry for approx. 10 min. Add the remaining tomato liquid to the pan and let it reduce for approx. 5 min. Cook pasta in water according to package directions. Roughly pluck the basil and add to the sauce.
Step 4/4

- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- basil
Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta and combine with the sauce in the pan. Stir half of the Parmesan cheese into the pasta. Plate and garnish with remaining Parmesan and more basil. Enjoy!
