Passion fruit biscuits
Ingredients
Step 1/8
- ⅛ cup water (for coating)
- ⅛ cup Demerara sugar
- ⅛ fl oz passion fruits (for coating)
- ¼ tbsp Corn starch
- ⅛ tbsp Vegan butter
Mix in a pan (medium heat): 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of sugar, the pulp of 2 passion fruits, 3 tbsp of corn starch and 1 tbsp of vegan butter. Mix until it gets kinda dense.
Step 2/8
Let the passion fruit filling rest while you make de biscuit dough.
Step 3/8
- ⅛ cups flour
- ⅛ cups Corn starch
- ⅛ cup Demerara sugar
- ⅔ tbsp Vegan butter
- ⅛ tsp baking powder
For the dough you’re gonna mix all the other ingredients in a bowl until its a homogeneous dough.
Step 4/8
Shape them as lil boats and place them in a pan (leave some space between the biscuits)
Step 5/8
Fill the “boats” with the passion fruit filling made earlier.
Step 6/8
Bake in the over. 200C until they start to get golden
Step 7/8
Let them rest for 5 min out of the oven, after this time you can take them out of the pan
