  • Step 1/5

    Mix flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla sugar and 2tbs. Of sugar in a bowl, and in a separate bowl mix eggs, butter, milk and yoghurt.

    • 3 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 2 eggs
    • 240 ml milk
    • 180 g natural yogurt

    Mix flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla sugar and 2tbs. Of sugar in a bowl, and in a separate bowl mix eggs, butter, milk and yoghurt.

    Mix wet Ingredients into the dry one, and stir until well mixed. Do not over stir. Set aside while you prepare your apples.

    Peel and cut your apples into cubes. Add butter to your pan and preheat to medium high heat. Once the pan is hot add your apples, 1 spoon of sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and a spoon of water. Cook until nicely caramelised, around 15minutes.

Wait until you can see some bubbles on top and flip. Once the bottom is nice and golden they are done cooking. I like to place them in 75 degree C oven to keep them hot while cooking.
