Meatballs and baby potatoes
Ingredients
Utensils
Pan, bowl, knife
Step 1/6
- 1 bag Baby potatoes
- water
- Pan
Prepare the baby potatoes by pealing them and cooking in a pan of water for about 10 minutes till nice and soft inside. Once they are done, take the water out and leave them in the warm pan. For a better taste, put some salt and butter at this stage so it melts.
Step 2/6
- 250 g Steak mince
- 1 egg
- bowl
Prepare the steak mince by putting the 250g of mince in a bowl and add one whole egg.
Step 3/6
- 1 onion
- knife
Cut half an onion or a whole (if preferred) in slices like this or cubes.
Step 4/6
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper
- 5 tbsp flour
Add the cut onion to the previously prepared mince and egg. Season with some salt and pepper or some herbs if preferred. Now the fun part! Get your hands messy and mix the ingredients all together. Make sure all mince bits are stuck together. Once this is done you can create little meat balls or big meat balls (as you like). After you have made them dip them evenly in flour for the nice crispy finishing once cooked.
Step 5/6
- 1 drop Oil spray
Spray some oil spray on a pan and heat it up. Once hot, throw the meatballs in. Make sure they are not touching to avoid sticking. You will have to move them around from time to time so they are cooked throughout. Cook till golden brown or however you like it. I like them a bit more brown as shown on picture. Once they are cooked put them aside so the oil stays in the bowl instead of your place.
Step 6/6
- 1 package Light beef gravy
Make some gravy by boiling some water and adding granules. Stir till thick. You can use any gravy granules wether they are beef granules or chicken granules - both taste amazing! Now all your ingredients are ready, enjoy!
Enjoy your meal!
