Step 1/8
Cut beef in cubes
Step 2/8
Peel and cut onions and carrots
Step 3/8
Fry beef in butter and Olive pil
Step 4/8
Add carrots, onions, stock cubes, bay leaves and allspice berries. Fry while stirring
Step 5/8
Add flour and mix. Add water so it just covers the beef. Add salt and white pepper.
Step 6/8
Bring up to a boil and stir so it doesn’t stick. Pour off the foam
Step 7/8
Let boil with a lid until beef is soft, approx. 1 1/2 hour
Step 8/8
Serve with boiled potatoes and pickled beetroot
