Step 1/4
- ¾ cups semolina
- ½ cup yogurt
- ½ pinch salt
- ½ pinch sugar
- oil (for garnish)

Take semolina in a bowl, add yogurt, sugar, salt and oil and mix it well and rest it for 10 minutes
Step 2/4
- 7½ cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp chili powder

Take garlic add pinch of salt and sugar in it and grind to fine paste then add chilli powder mix it well.
Step 3/4
- 1½ tbsp baking powder
- steamer

Make three equal portions of the semolina batter prepared and add baking powder to all the three portions and mix well and to one of the mix add the garlic paste prepared earlier. Grease a plate with oil add the plain semolina batter and steam it for 5 minutes on high flame. After that open the lid add the batter with garlic paste over it and steam it for 2 minutes, Then add the last plain batter above it and steam it for final 10 minutes on high flame.

The final step once the dhokla is prepared cool it aside and take a pan heat oil into it add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves and add some chilli powder as per your taste and add it over dhokla and cut it into pieces and serve with sauce or chutney.
