How to cook wild rice

Step 1/2
- 80 g wild rice
- fine sieve
Add rice to a fine sieve and rinse with cold water, swirling your hand through the rice until the water runs clear. Let drain thoroughly.
Step 2/2
- 355 ml water
- cast iron pot (with lid)
- cooking spoon
Transfer rice and water to a pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover and turn heat to low. Let simmer for approx. 30 min. or until rice reaches desired level of tenderness. Drain, serve, and enjoy!
