The lightest and crispiest homemade waffles

- 125 g butter
- 60 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 200 ml milk

Add softened butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar to a large bowl and beat until light and creamy with a hand mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating in between. In a different bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold it slowly into the egg mix, alternating with splashes of milk until everything is combined. Mix everything until you have a smooth batter.

Grease the waffle iron with some vegetable oil. Then, add a spoonful of waffle batter, close the lid, and bake until crispy. Continue until the batter is used up. Enjoy waffles with jam, cream, butter and/or syrup!
