Homemade spätzle

- 120 g flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 60 ml water
- large bowl

Add flour, salt, and egg to a large bowl. Stir and add water. Stir vigorously into a smooth dough. Bring water in a large pot to boil.

- cutting board
Wet the edge of a cutting board with boiling water. Spread a thin layer of dough on the board. Shave strips of dough into the large pot of boiling water and cook until spätzle floats. Transfer to an ice bath for approx. 20 sec. Check out our recipe for cheese spätzle and enjoy!
