Green Lentil Dahl

Ingredients
Step 1/10
- 1 onion
Chop onion
Step 2/10
- oil (for frying)
Heat pan on medium. Add chopped onion and stir occasionally until soft.

- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ ginger (grated)
Roughly chol garlic and grate ginger and add to pot.
Step 4/10
- potato
- 1 tsp salt
Slice potato into medium peices and add to pot with salt

- 4 tsp curry powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
Add all spices into heated mixture and stir for around 5 min

- ¾ coconut milk tin
Pour coconut milk into pan, stir and cook for 2min
Step 7/10
- 750 ml water
- 1 vegetable stock
Dissolve vegetable stock in water
Step 8/10
- 200 g green lentils
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
Add stock water, soy sauce and lentils
Step 9/10
Bring pot to boil, then allow to simmer for 40min.
Step 10/10
- 2 tbsp butter
When finished, add butter and extra water if needed
