Currywurst (Berlin-style bratwurst with curry sauce)

Step 1/3
- ½ apple
- ½ banana
- 1 clove garlic
- 50 g onions

Peel and cut the apple and banana into small pieces. Dice garlic and onion.
Step 2/3
- 20 g curry powder
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder
- 50 ml pineapple juice
- 4 tbsp distilled white vinegar
- 400 ml canned diced tomatoes
- vegetable oil (for frying)

Heat some vegetable oil in a saucepan, then add onion and garlic. Add curry powder and sweet paprika powder, and let bloom, approx. 2 min. Deglaze with pineapple juice and vinegar. Then add banana, apple, and canned tomatoes. Simmer the sauce for approx. 30 min. Use an immersion blender to blend into a creamy sauce.
Step 3/3
- 4 pork sausages
- frying pan
Add a generous amount of vegetable oil to a frying pan. Add sausages and fry until they are golden brown on all sides. Cut sausages into smaller pieces and generously pour the sauce all over. Top with more curry powder. Enjoy!
