Chinese sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice
Ingredients
Step 1/4
- 200 ml pineapple juice
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 50 g sugar
Sweet and sour sauce. Take saucepan add all pineapple juice, sugar, ketchup, vine vinegar, 2 tablespoons cornflour, 2 tablespoons soya sauce. Boil it till it comes ticker, then off heater and leave it.
Step 2/4
- 150 g rice
- 1½ eggs
- soy sauce
Heat the oil in stir fry pan, add rice and fry for 4 min, then add eggs and 4 tablespoons soya sauce and fry more 4 min.
Step 3/4
- 300 g chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp cornflour
- 50 ml water
- salt
- pepper
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp Wheat flour
Chicken breast cut in medium cubes, add some soya sauce, salt and pepper, mix it and leave it for 10 min. 4 tablespoons corn flour and 2 tablespoons wheat flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder mix with water, batter shouldn’t be tick if you need add more water.
Step 4/4
Heat oil in deep pan. Dip chicken cubes in batter and fry 5 min. (Shake off the extra batter before frying). On plate put 3 tablespoons egg fried rice, some fried chicken and on top sweet and sour sauce.
