- Bunch of fresh sage
- 32 g butter
- 1¼ cloves garlic
Finley chop sage, mince garlic. Put in a pan with butter and melt on a low heat for 5 minutes
Step 2/3
- ⅜ whole chicken
- ⅜ apple
- ⅜ red onion
- ¼ lemon
- Salt and pepper
Quarter the onion and apple and put in the chicken. Salt and pepper the skin. Then brush sage butter over the whole chicken. Add a squeeze of lemon and roast in oven at 200 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes.
Step 3/3
Rest for 10 minutes, carve, then serve.
